The rules

• Each puzzle is a short sequence of emoji that stands for something — sometimes by sound, sometimes by idea. An eye and an ice cream, for instance, reads as "I scream".
• A row of blanks shows you how many words and letters you're after. Type your guess when it clicks.
• The emoji don't all appear at once — you earn them by answering quick maths problems, one correct answer revealing the next symbol, so the picture builds as you go.
• Stuck on the phrase? A hint reveals a letter for a small cost, and you can keep going until it falls.

Pick your difficulty

• Easy — short two-emoji puzzles, with simple add-and-subtract maths to unlock them.
• Medium — three emoji, with times-and-divide problems.
• Hard — longer chains and a mix of all four operations.
• Zolified — the reveal maths adds order of operations, so you earn each emoji the hard way.

The answer is usually obvious the second you see it — the trick is getting the emoji to show up.
