Zol's Fields Divide the grid into perfect rectangles.

The rules

• The grid is dotted with numbered clues. Every square belongs to exactly one plot.
• Draw a rectangle around each clue so it contains that one number and no other.
• The rectangle's area — its squares — has to equal the clue's number. A "6" wants a plot of six squares; a "12" wants twelve.
• When every clue has its rectangle and the whole grid is covered with no overlaps, it's solved.
• Every board has exactly one solution, so it's all deduction — no lucky guesses.

How much it gives away

The number is always shown; what changes is how much shape help you get:

• Easy — a 6×6 grid, with a hint for most plots on whether they're square, tall or wide.
• Medium — 7×7, with the shape hint on fewer plots.
• Hard — 8×8, area numbers only, the way the classic puzzle is meant to be.
• Zolified — the hard board plus a 60-second timer that starts drawing a correct rectangle for you if you stall, at a rising cost.

A prime number has only one shape it can be. Start there.
